Over the past 30 years, Hoffmann Hospice has marked the beginning of the holiday season with our annual Light Up A Life event.
The celebration is an opportunity to pause to celebrate the memory of loved ones that have passed away and individuals that make life a little brighter. Together we will illuminate the darkness and give hope to our community this holiday season.
This year when you make a Light Up A Life dedication, a light symbolizing the person you are honoring will illuminate The Tree at The Marketplace Bakersfield throughout the Holiday Season.
Please Join us at the 9000 Ming Ave “The Marketplace” at 6:30 pm. You can purchase dedications at the event.

• Angel Dedication $250.00: A symbolic light dedicated in memory or honor of your loved one will illuminate the Christmas Tree, their name will be read aloud first at our live Reading Ceremony and appear boldly printed on our 2025 Light Up A Life list of names. A 2025 Commemorative personalized ornament will be mailed to your home for your tree.
• Ornament Dedication $100.00: A symbolic light dedicated in memory or honor of your loved one will illuminate the Christmas Tree, their name will be read aloud at our live Reading Ceremony and appear printed on our 2025 Light Up A Life list of names. A 2025 Commemorative ornament will be mailed to your home for your tree. ((You can add a loved one’s name to the ornament for an additional cost of $25.00))
• Light Dedication $10.00 Donation: A symbolic light dedicated in memory or honor of your loved one will illuminate the Christmas Tree, their name will be read aloud at our live Reading Ceremony and appear printed on our 2025 Light Up A Life list of names.
